Being a private piano and flute teacher for 30 years has brought me great happiness as I have taught children the joys of learning and making music. In music, “Harmony” refers to the simultaneous combination of different musical notes to create a nice balanced sound. Harmony complements a melody by adding depth, richness, and texture to the overall musical composition.
In our lives, I have found the same true for our overall health and well-being. It is not just how and what we eat that matters, but the overall picture of our health and how each piece affects each other. When these pieces of health all work together optimally, they create a masterpiece of wholeness and well-being. I enjoy helping others find the harmony that makes up their health and happiness!
Hi! I’m Amy Clarke - wife, mom, and grandma - who loves gardening, playing pickleball, traveling, reading, listening to podcasts, and hiking. I graduated from Weber State University in 2023 in Integrative Nutrition and received certification as a Nutrition and Wellness coach from Nutritious Life Studio a few months later.
I enjoy eating delicious nutritious food, salty snacks, and dark chocolate. In 2018 I found out I had SIBO and have since then been very interested in helping others who also have various IBS challenges. Gut health is fascinating to me, especially learning about how the microbiome is connected to our brain, immunity, skin, and many other physiological systems in our body.
Before Amy, my teenage son had not eaten vegetables in a few years and was eating less and less fruits by the day. She somehow got him interested in vegetables, fruit, fiber and nuts and all sorts of new food experiences on the daily. He has more energy and is less afraid to try new foods. He is keeping track of his exercise and regularly talks about things he learned in his meetings with Amy.
I didn't know what to expect and I have been pleasantly surprised with the process. She listened to my son and made sure to get his buy in on goals before setting any expectations. She always sent my son home with something to study or a visual reminder of the lessons he learned. She is always positive and never pushes too much. Compared to other experiences I have had with other people she was the perfect blend of helpful and not too pushy. I would recommend Amy to anyone interested in making some real progress in their goals to become healthier.

When I first came to see Amy, I was struggling with significant gut and digestive issues, weighed 190 pounds, and was also experiencing low nutrition levels. At 21, I knew I needed professional help to improve my overall health. I chose Amy because of the affordable pricing and strong reputation for reliability. Because of bad experiences in the past, I was hesitant to get professional help, but Amy exceeded my expectations beautifully.
Now, after a few months, weighing 165 pounds, I can genuinely say that working with Amy has been a transformative experience. Although my gut issues are not completely resolved, they have significantly improved. The personalized care and effective strategies have led to continuous progress and tangible results. I would highly recommend Amy to anyone seeking to improve their health, as the support and expertise provided have made a real difference in my life.

I’ve always been of the mindsets that physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional health are all very connected. One of the main reasons I decided to meet with a health coach is because nutrition is one of the areas I probably know the least about and at this point in my life, is probably one of the areas that matters most.
Working with Amy has been a very positive experience. She is encouraging and knowledgeable and has provided me some great resources to develop my understanding of nutrition and how I can make smarter, healthier choices. Improving overall wellness is definitely a process and I’ve found nutrition to be one of the hardest aspects of self-improvement but I also feel it’s one worth investing time and energy into.
One of my favorite things about working with Amy is that I never felt scolded on weeks when I didn’t do as well as I wanted to. She gives useful feedback, insight, and education and then gently nudges you in the right direction. She isn’t so rigid in her methodology that you can’t experiment to figure out what works for you and change directions if you want to try something new. I appreciated being able to make the decisions about how I wanted to move forward and ultimately, how I control my own health.

I have really enjoyed working with Amy Clarke. As I've entered menopause I've struggled with waking up and gaining weight, even while calorie counting. I really needed someone to bounce ideas off of and help me understand what might just be a fad and what things might work for me or why they might not work for me. There is too much information out there on food and exercise. When we first started I was a little overwhelmed and had some personal issues come up and really felt like the goals I set for myself were out of reach. I took apps off of my phone and was ready to throw in the towel, but Amy suggested I just keep coming to talk about different issues and review what I was doing. I'm so grateful that we kept meeting. I did regress for a bit, but her encouragement and discussions on new and different foods or lifestyle approaches helped me realize that a health journey is different for everyone and can look different every month. I've loved learning and reviewing my changes, set backs and growth. I've loved having someone to ask questions who has helped me look for answers and ideas on how to implement things. She's sent recipes and articles to read. I went in thinking we would set up a food plan and be done, but she has given so much more, especially support. I'm learning it is difficult to make life changes without a great support system and some accountability. Amy is non judgemental and more helpful than I imagined in encouraging me and helping me find a pace that fits my lifestyle.
